Sponsorship
Why do we need sponsorship?
In order to succeed we can't only rely on our technical and scientific abilities, we must also be able to collect a sufficient amount of sponsorship to fund the journey. Our main expenditures have been the kit, the pit display and marketing items. Our total expenditure has amounted to £1084.20, which is £15.80 less than our planned maximum expenditure, which was £1100.
As the sponsorship manager it was Dafydd's task to present Team Vulcan on the phone to the sponsors and Gareth also did this when emailing them. They also explained the reason for sponsoring us and how our team and the company would benefit from it.
Return on investment (roi)
When a company sponsors you it is a very generous act, and to thank them we display the company clearly on our pit display, portfolios, website etc. We also hand out brochures and business cards if requested by the company and we put a direct ink from our website to theirs.
We also use social media to show everyone the support these companies are giving to youth development in STEM.
We also alow companies and businesses to put pictures of us on their different medias so that they can also show people their commitment to Engineering and Motorsport in Schools.
